Industrial partners of SkyPro Oulu include Ehovoc Oy, manufacturer of incinerators for industrial VOC emission abatement, Ecocat Oy, designer of emission processing catalysts, Proventia Group Oy, producer of emission treatment solutions for diesel-powered machinery and heavy vehicles and power plants, APL Systems Oy, expert in wireless device design and development for clean-tech applications as well as Gasera Oy that develops cutting edge measuring equipment that enables the reliable analysis of gases, liquids, and solid materials.
SkyPro Oulu co-operates closely also with Stora Enso. The Oulu Mill of Stora Enso is one of the worlds´s largest and most modern facility manufacturing art quality coated woodfree papers and boards.
Oulu Waste Management is a public utility of the city of Oulu which is responsible for waste treatment, coordination of waste transport and waste education and related extension services. Waste Management Oulu aims to improve the living environment of its residents through increasing the level of knowledge about the environment and preserving natural resources.
In addition to above, SkyPro Oulu has an industrial partner in Raahe Region. Ruukki Raahe Steel Works produces hot-rolled special steels for demanding applications.
SkyPro Oulu co-operates closely with Outokumpu Group. Tornio Works is the largest business unit of Outokumpu Group. Tornio Works includes stainless steel plant and ferrochrome smelter in Tornio, the port in Tornio, Kemi chromium mine and the finishing line in the Netherlands.
Fermion Oy manufactures Drug Substances, i.e Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), for Orion’s proprietary products as well as a number of generic compounds. Fermion also manufactures and sells APIs to other pharmaceutical companies.
